Mengunci Folder Tanpa Software

Ingin mengunci dan mengamankan sebuah file hanya dengan kode, dan tanpa menggunakan software pendukung?

1. Buka Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad

2. Copy dan paste kode berikut ke notepad :

3. Kemudian simpan file notepad tersebut dengan nama Locker.bat

4. Klik file locker.bat tersebut, maka akan terbentuk sebuah folder, dan pada folder ini file anda dapat di simpan.

5. Kemudian klik sekali lagi file Locker.bat, maka akan muncul perintah “Do you want to lock the file Y/N” klik “Y” dan tekan Enter, maka folder tersebut akan hilang.

6. Klik sekali lagi file Locker.bat, maka akan muncul pesan untuk memasukkan pasword (Enter Password) untuk membuka kunci folder

7. Ketikkan kode password Anda (Paswordnya Sembarangan) kemudian tekan Enter, maka folder tersebut akan muncul kembali dengan isi file dalam folder tersebut.

FACEBOOK WILL END ON MARCH 15th!

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.
“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”
Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.
“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”
Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.
“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”
Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.
“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”
However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.
“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”
Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.
But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.
“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

10 Trik Membuat Linux Lebih Cepat

Sistem operasi Linux memang jarang membutuhkan proses restart, namun jika hal itu terjadi, maka dapat dipastikan prosesnya akan sangat lama. Untungnya, ada beberapa cara di bawah ini yang dapat mempercepat kinerja Linux di computer.


1. Disable aplikasi yang tidak diperlukan
Dalam penggunaan computer, pasti ada beberapa aplikasi yang tidak atau jarang digunakan. Sebagai contoh, jika Anda hanya menggunakan Linux untuk desktop, maka Anda tidak membutuhkan send email, httpd, dan layanan aplikasi lainnya. Atau jika server Anda hanya sebagai web server, Anda dapat mematikan banyak layanan lainnya yang tidak dipakai. Untuk melakukan hal ini, Anda dapat menuju menu “Administration” dan melihat antrian layanan. Anda dapat “deselect all” layanan yang tidak Anda pakai.




2. Disable modul kernel yang tidak dipakai
Jika desktop Anda memiliki kabel Ethernet, Anda tidak memerlukan modul kernel wireless. Cara mengetahui kernel yang digunakan di computer Anda, adalah dengan menginstal Bootchart, yang sekaligus akan memberikan informasi semua kejadian dalam system booting computer. Atau Anda dapat masuk ke fitur “command” dan menuliskan “chkconfig –list | grep 3” untuk mengetahui layanan apa yang sedang berjalan. Jika Anda sudah tahu module kernel yang sedang berjalan, maka Anda dapat mematikannya  dan kemudian meng-compile kernel yang sesuai dengan arsitektur computer Anda.

3. Window manager yang ringan selain Gnome atau KDE
Dengan window manager yang lebih kecil, maka akan mengurangi waktu booting grafis pada layar. Ketika menggunakan Gnome atau KDE maka Anda perlu waktu booting 30 hingga 60 detik, namun dengan window manager Enlightenment atau desktop environment Xfce hanya membutuhkan waktu sekitar 10 detik. Tidak hanya menghemat waktu, namun Enlightenment ataupun Xfce juga akan menghemat uang Anda dan menghindarkan Anda dari ‘bloatware’.

4. Login text-based daripada login dengan gambar
Kebanyakan Linux, terutama yang berjalan di level 3 akan berhenti di login text-based. Semenetara bila login dengan gambar, akan menambah waktu waktu loading Linux.

5. Distro yang ringan
Distro Gentoo, Arch atau Puppy Linux, merupakan distro kecil yang lebih cepat proses booting-nya daripada Fedora ataupun Ubuntu. Walaupun Ubuntu versi terbaru lebih cepat daripada Fedora.

6. OpenBIOS
Jika Anda ingin meng-upgrade PC Anda, Anda mungkin harus mempertimbangkan untuk migrasi ke open source BIOS. Jika Anda tidak ingin menggunakan openBIOS, maka Anda dapat mengkonfigurasi BIOS tidak untuk mencari floopy disk yang memang tidak terpasang di computer atau booting pertama kali akan langsung dari harddisk, bukan CD.

7. Mematikan DHCP
Jika Anda bekerja di jaringan yang kecil, yang tidak memiliki masalah dengan pengalamatan IP, maka Anda dapat menjadikannya alamat IP yang statis. Hal ini akan mencegah DHCP server untuk ‘memanggil’ alamat IP computer Anda. Anda dapat memastikan konfiguras “/etc/resolve.conf” untuk merefleksikan alamat DNS server Anda dengan benar.

8. Hotplug
Hotplug adalah sebuah system pada distro yang sudah lama, yang mengijinkan Anda untuk plug-in device baru dan menggunakan denganc cepat. Jika Anda tahu bahwa system computer Anda tidak menggunakannya, maka Anda dapat menghapusnya, sehingga waktu booting labih cepat. Metode untuk mengahpusnya, tergantung dengan masing-masing distro.

9. Sistem “initng”
Sistem initng akan menjalanka penggantian dari system SysVinit, dan dapat mengurangi waktu booting di Unix. Jika Anda ingin melihat aksi sistem initng, maka Anda dapat menggunakan Pingwinek LiveCD.

10. Hack Debian
Jika Anda menggunakan Debian, maka ada beberapa hack simple yang dapat digunakan untuk switch script startup system agar dapat berjalan di pararel. Jika Anda mengetik “etc/init.d/rc script” dalam menu “command”, maka ANda akan melihat tulisan “ncy=none’ around line 24“. Anda dapat mengubahnya menjadi “oncurrency=shell”, dan Anda telah mengurangi waktu booting system.

Cara Mempercepat Proses Booting Komputer (PC) melalui registry editor

1. Klik start ► Run, ketikkan regedit
2. Masuk ke subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ► Sofware
3. Klik Microsoft
4. Klik Dfrg
5. Klik BootOptimizeFunction
6. Pada jendela sebelah kanan, carilah String Value bernama Enable
klik ganda String Value tersebut dan ubah menjadi N.
Bila anda ingin mengaftifkannya kembali ubah menjadi Y
7. Restart PC anda.

Cukup secerhana, namun tak salah jika anda ingin mencobanya..
